Notes from the edge of reality.

A place for notes, unfinished thoughts, photo essays and observations that continue beyond a single frame.

Why this portfolio exists

I did not want this site to feel like a neutral grid of finished images. Photographs change when they are placed next to one another: a crowded room can make a quiet portrait feel lonelier, while a small patch of daylight can alter everything that came before it.

Separable is therefore part portfolio, part publication and part personal archive. The galleries are not fixed categories. Images return in different series because memory works that way too—one moment can belong to several stories at once.

The names of the series come from music that has stayed with me. They are not explanations for the photographs, but ways into their atmosphere.
